Nineteen girl scouts from Troop #3556 in Battleground IN, earned their Rocks and Minerals badge by visiting US Aggregates’ Swisher plant on October 6, 2014. They were given a tour of our operation. They learned about the rocks and minerals we mine, as well as how vital water is to our everyday life. Because it rained the day before, the troop was also able to see how US Aggregates processes storm water.
