It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to one of our beloved leaders, Fred M. Fehsenfeld, Sr., Founder of The Heritage Group. His vision, entrepreneurial spirit, and persistence propelled his family’s original Crystal Flash Petroleum Company, from 100 employees, operating gas stations and home heating oil sales in Indiana and Michigan into The Heritage Group which employs 6500 people around the world. Fred guided Heritage in its expansion across North America, Europe, and China, in the core industries of Environmental and Remediation, Specialty Chemicals, and Fuel Products, and Construction and Materials. He was a trusted friend who deeply loved his family. What an incredible life and legacy. Mr. Fehsenfeld will be dearly missed.
