Over the past month, US Aggregates hosted over half a dozen customer appreciation events across our locations to celebrate the close of another successful season. To celebrate, our plants brought in food trucks, snacks, US Agg swag, and even raffle prizes to share with our customers.
Sales Manager John Masterson views these events as an integral part of expressing our gratitude to our customers. “This is an annual event we do to thank our customers who come into our location to buy products from us,” John said. “It’s our way of showing them how much we appreciate them and thank them for allowing us to supply them with their needs.”
This year, our Monon and Francesville plants hosted their customer appreciation events on September 27 and more than 150 drivers were able to pick up coffee, donuts, and US Agg gear in the morning at Monon and head to Francesville for lunch and a chance to win a grand prize of a $250 Menards gift card. Other customer appreciation events pictured above include Flat Rock, Portland, Columbus, Lowell, and Richmond, IN.
To Sales Coordinator Yvette Fritz, the people and companies she supplies for are more than just customers. “At our US Aggregates northern locations, the drivers that frequent our quarries are not just haulers; they are a vital part of our US Aggregates team,’ Yvette said. “They play a huge role in the service we provide to our customers, and we are grateful for all that they do in helping us to achieve great customer service.”
Additionally, John explained that to him, customer appreciation events are more than our way of saying thank you, but a way of connecting with our customers and community on a personal level. “We are not just a manufacturer or a quarry, we are also a community partner,” John said. “Customer appreciation day once a year is a part of that equation to let the community know we care,” said John.
