US Agg MCC plant

The primary focus of the plant inspection was to assess and enhance safety measures at the Deer Creek facility. The inspection covered a wide range of safety aspects including equipment maintenance, hazard identification, emergency response protocols, and adherence to occupational health and safety guidelines.

Apart from safety, the plant inspection also aimed to evaluate the facility’s operational efficiency.

Plant Manager Rachel Lockhart sees an additional benefit of building community across The Heritage Group.

“Having been at US Aggregates for several years, I’ve seen many different iterations of the plant inspections. It’s a great way to show the sites and equipment to new employees or those that do not have much mining experience. I love the “story sharing” and sense of community these inspections bring with everyone across THG. I tell my crews to be proud and showcase all of the great accomplishments they have achieved.”
