The Portland Fine Grind operation and its associated Portland Quarry are located in Jay County. Portland Fine Grind is known for its golf trap sand, which can be found in over 28 golf courses throughout Indiana. Both Portland plants share the Bluffton Till Plain physiographic region of Indiana.
