US Aggregates Rockstar: Larry Sedwick

We are thrilled to shine the spotlight on Larry Sedwick, the newest Plant Manager addition to our team at US Aggregates. With his exceptional skills, extensive industry experience, and commitment to excellence, Larry brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to our organization. 

Larry Sedwick joins our Lowell quarry with 33 years of experience in the aggregates industry, where he has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive operational efficiency, foster a positive work culture, and deliver outstanding results. Larry started his mining career as a laborer in Pennsylvania before learning every role in a limestone plant. 

One of the things Larry brought with him was his preventative maintenance program. 

“I’ve adapted a few preventative maintenance programs in the past, so I do have a way that I like to do it, but I have to always remember that I’m not physically the one doing it,” Larry said. “But if there was something they had been doing that they liked, we kept it that way. They’re part of the transition. It’s not change happening to them, it’s change that we’re all doing together.” 

When he’s not leading our team to success, Larry can often be found pursuing his passion for outdoor activities. Larry enjoys bass fishing, camping, and participating in archery tournaments, and has won multiple state championships.
